To solve the transport problems of the Chelyabinsk City Duma, the city target program was adopted “Improving the quality of traffic safety organization in the city of Chelyabinsk” for 2008-2010. The program provides for the construction and reconstruction of traffic lights, the improvement of an automated road traffic control system, the introduction of a route orientation system for transit transport drivers. The implementation of the programs of the program will increase the throughput of roads, improve the quality of road safety organization.
