Correction of hinged loops of a wooden box
Steppery of screws of door loops causes poor closing the canvas, so it is recommended to tighten the weakened fasteners. The lack of the result of the named operation requires the use of long screws with the same diameter. If the necessary target remains unattainable, the old holes are expanded, closed by traffic jams by means of an adhesive mixture. Then new holes are made in which the loops are firmly fixed on the box. Problems arise in the presence of small or too deep holes for loops. The first case requires refinement of the holes to the desired dimensions by removing the door leaf, inserting the cardboard part of the necessary dimensions into the hole designed to install the loop. At the end of the process, loops are screwed, the door is hung in place.
