The old cathedral is a magnificent building of the 13th century, carefully restored at the end of the twentieth. For a long time there were barracks here, and many elements of the decoration were lost. The courtyard of the cathedral can compete for the title of the most beautiful in Europe, and its openwork arches serve as an excellent frame for the opening panorama of the city.
