Usually a trench is dug up under the path to the depth of the layers that form the path. This is about fifteen centimeters under gravel, ten centimeters for sand, three centimeters for a dry mix and seven centimeters for tiles itself. The result is about 35 centimeters. If the track is planned to be raised over the general level of land, then this is taken into account when calculating the recesses.
