OPEN DISCUSSION • Let’s talk about Joyce Bova. Elvis’ girlfriend from 1970-1972. They met in Las Vegas on August 16th, 1969. Their relationship took flight in the summer of 1970– What do you think of Elvis and Joyce’s relationship? If you haven’t read her book yet, I highly recommend it before voicing your opinions— Let’s discuss it below ✨ For me personally, I just adore Joyce. She’s a wonderful lady and OBVIOUSLY Elvis wanted her with him as often as possible (but her work got in the way of that) so that’s a major sign he cared deeply for her. If he didn’t want her, he would t have tried as hard as he did. Unfortunately, she wasn’t willing to give up her career to be with him, so they faded to grey like all of the rest of his relationships. She wasn’t able to give him what he wanted on the end. But I know while they were together, it was lovely union between them 💕 Sonny West & Joe Esposito testify to that as well. (I bought her book about five years ago & I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences with her as a person. And WHAT a dancer!) #elvis #elvispresley #elvisaaronpresley #joycebova #lasvegas

I read her book, along with many others. I didn’t think she was relevant. I didn’t think Elvis was very “stable” during that time. There were many women and I didn’t get that she was special. Sadly, he just couldn’t have a real relationship. He just didn’t know how.

I don't believe in a real love ,if you can't give something up to get it ! If he wanted her badly he had her ,instate of others too ! And i have no respect ,for all these woman that felt the need to write about their love ,supose to be private always no matter what ,he deserve that !!!! He had already so little privacy ,so no one respected that ,no true love in my opinium. Fans realy don't need to know everything !! But as we all know money money money !!

I really enjoyed the book! It’s a shame that she didn’t “settle down “ with him (I hope that makes sense) because it’s really clear that he cared a lot about her. And It was obvious that she loved him as well

I like Joyce, she did have some insight to Elvis being both twins 💯 and spending so much time with him, I do love that she was a comfort for him at the time he needed her, but I don't believe she was "the one " I still believe Ann Margaret has his heart 💕 after his marriage Elvis wasn't the same he wasn't fulfilled and he kept searching for that same feeling he felt with Ann perhaps ? I don't know just my thoughts ❤️️ @presleyworld_

I really liked this book. Joyce seems like a great lady & paints an honest account of her relationship. I was in DC last weekend & made a video. If you have a chance, check it out. I will send you the link.

I think she was one of the special ones and Elvis tried to break his usual habits and really pursue her. He like she was a twin. I thought it was interesting in the book how she stopped doing the heavy make up and the teased hair and she felt liberated. She kept being mixed up with Priscilla and after awhile I think it got to her.
