Baby it's cold outside!
Coffee production in Papua New Guinea is such a staple to their export industry, that it employs 2.5 million people!
Does coffee trigger hot flashes? 🔥
The Mayo Clinic conducted a study between 2005 and 2011 among 1,800 menopausal women and compared symptoms between caffeine users and nonusers. Here is what they found: ☕️
During perimenopause, caffeine seems to boost mood, memory and concentration. These improvements were not experienced by women past menopause.
During post-menopause, women who consumed caffeine experienced more hot flashes and night sweats than women you did not. 🔥
How much is too much?
We know that everyone has a different tolerance for caffeine. Ayurveda says that all things should come in moderation: we should observe the effect on the body and adapt our diet. .
From a energetic and doshic perspective, coffee is hot, light and dry. It will increase Vata and Pitta, and balance Kapha.
Trying to reduce the number of coffee cups to one or two per day seems like a good idea. Ayurveda doesn’t recommend more than one cup of coffee per day, even to Kaphas, but again, self-observation is the key to self-prescription. .
☕️==> It is better to drink coffee between 6 and 10am, the Kappa (cool, heavy and earthy) time of the day. The coffee will bring stimulation to that sluggish stage of the day. ☕️==> Drink organic coffee only, to avoid all trace of pesticides that will eventually build ama (toxins) in the system. ☕️==> Try to ovoid coffee being the first thing you ingest. It is way too acid for your stomach…Instead, drink warm water with lemon, have some breakfast and then only savor your favorite organic cup of coffee. ☕️==> Drink mindfully and a sense of reverence for the hard work of the people who have grown, harvested and roasted the plant. ☕️🌱🧡 .

There's no problem a hot pot of your favorite tea can't fix — especially when it's finally Friday! 🎉
Coffee makes us severe and grave and philosophical.
💥 Tip 3️⃣ to avoid feeling stuffed like the Turkey 🦃
WATCH YOUR PORTION SIZES & BE MINDFUL OF WHAT YOUR'RE EATING!
The average plate is 14 inches wide, and we tend to finish 98% of the food on our plate!! Now that's a lot of food!
One of the best things about Thanksgiving is the memories & traditions of the day. Don't limit yourself from enjoying your favorite dishes, but only have a small scoop of those that are less healthy.
One way to make sure you dont over eat is try tricking your brain into thinking you've eaten enough by use a smaller plate and/or fill half a normal plate with salad.
Another option is practicing mindfulness while you're eating.
Don't munch mindlessly - slow down and really savor & enjoy what you're eating. Don't eat out of bags or bowls - put your food on a plate.
Do you have 1 food that's an absolute MUST eat at Thanksgicing?
Guess what?? I don’t feel great about myself all the time. In fact, just this week I told a friend how I’m sick of feeling good one week and the next week I look in the mirror and all I can see is what I HATE. I hate the amount of pressure we put on ourselves to think it’s NOT normal to have cellulite, that is NOT normal to have some extra skin on the belly, and whoa! You have some back fat?! We all want to be this cookie cutter “fit” girl right? We were all made different. No BODY is the same. So why do we feel we all need to look the same?! What the hell is wrong with just looking like YOU. You’ve had kids, you went through a divorce, a breakup, a death in the family. Maybe this season of life is just so damn stressful that you don’t even have the time to think about being “fit.” Just be YOU. Figure out what’s going to help you be the best version of yourself. I’m here to tell you, it’s not abs. I know because ice had abs.✨✨💜💜
When you realize that you might have a slight problem. 😂 (Just in case there’s a shortage, or a major earthquake, ‘cause I can always boil water on my camping propane hot plate.) And I’m currently missing two of my favorites, New Mexico Pinon, and Café du Monde. (Once a New Orleans girl, always a New Orleans girl! Plus, chicory is a probiotic, which you definitely need if you eat anything in New Orleans! 😂 Roux is so hard to digest!) Anyone else have this much coffee at home? #gotcoffee
Me to me, when I ask myself if I really need another cup of coffee. #fngoodcoffeeco ☕
Morning routine ☕️. Well, every morning starts with coffee but not in cafes this fabulous. Are you a coffee person? I’m so cheap with eating out but I have no issue buying coffee all the time.

This coffee is marshmallowy sweet both in aroma and taste. There is a delightful lightness & brightness to it with mild lemon acidity, sweet berry flavor, and a creamy chocolate aftertaste. It lingers on your palate for a while with a clean finish.
Thanks a ton to @hexcoffee for sponsoring an episode of Brew Review and sending some coffee for me to try! ☕️
