✨☀️🌅 . . #sun #hand #window #picofday #photographer #photography #dop #mylife #movement #city #filmmaker #tales #room

They were sitting in an empty compartment. Albert lit a cigarette and offered one to Frankie. She refused it and snuggled down on his shoulder and fell asleep. Albert continued smoking and watched the corridor. Occasional passengers wandered back and forth but no one entered their compartment. An hour passed, Frankie continued to sleep when a rail employee abruptly opened the door and demanded to see their tickets. He left, the train pulled up at a station and Frankie woke up. She opened her eyes and looked at him and smiled. ‘Oh, I'm sorry, I couldn't keep my eyes open. Is everything all right?’ ‘We've stopped at a station. The ticket inspector came in to look at our tickets. Nothing else. It seems very quiet but that may be because it's Sunday.’ Frankie smiled at him again. The train lurched into motion. Frankie looked out the window. Farm houses, fields and trees moved past almost hypnotically. She felt herself being lulled back to sleep. Her reverie was abruptly interrupted as the door opened noisily and two passengers, a man and a woman in their fifties, Frankie thought, burst into the compartment carrying two suitcases. ‘You're English, aren't you?’ said the man. ‘I can always tell. It's something in the face. Where are you from? We're from Bolton, Lancashire.’ ‘And if I had said, no, we are Dutch?’ replied Albert, good naturedly. ‘Wouldn't've believed you. You don't look Dutch. And from your accent I'd say you were from Lancashire too, or Cheshire. Posh part.’ ‘And where would you say I was from?’ asked Frankie. ‘Oh, you're American, aren't you? Well I made a mistake there. But I was really looking at your hu
