Originally built almost 400 years ago, the Medici Fountain in the Luxembourg Gardens, is beautiful in all seasons but especially at this time of year. It was moved to its present location and rebuilt considerably in 1864. More Paris @georgiannalane and @photosbydcp
// Closing time at Luxembourg Gardens. 🌿🍁🍂 Early morning and just before closing are the best times here. It’s a bit chilly now to linger too long in the metal chairs but the people watching is just so good.
A day of exploring Paris 🇫🇷 We hit the Luxembourg Gardens first where we enjoyed a breakfast of almond croissants and coffee 🥐☕️. Then we walked over to Sainte Chapelle Cathedral before having a vin chaud 🍷 dans le Marais, strolling past Hotel de Ville and the Louvre before having a long and indulgent lunch in St Germain des Pres 🧀🥖 Some things aren’t pictured but here are a couple of highlights!

Revisit the Jardim du Luxembourg in the Autumn is a delight and get to the Medici Fountain in that magical hour, just before the sun set, was one perfect moment.
Couldn’t help to share it with you!
running along the enjoyable paths of the Jardin du Luxembourg or sitting to lean against the pool of Luxembourg palace while sipping my first coffee of the day #tbt
Musée Zadkine. Le Rêveur de la forêt. Lovely exhibition. Hidden away museum in Ossip Zadkine’s former studio and house next to the Luxembourg garden.
Same places, different seasons 🍂☀️ .
. this my favorite garden in Paris! I had heard about Luxembourg garden before coming to Paris but I didn’t actively look for it when I got there because I didn’t understand the French concept of ‘garden’. One day after class in Paris, I found this garden completely on accident! I was on one of my first aimless strolls of my time in France. This is how I came to find that there is something amazing around every corner in Paris! This garden is like an oasis of peace in the complete middle of Paris. I originally saw it in the beginning of August, then in September, and last weekend I paid it a visit to see it’s autumn splendor... it’s amazing how different it looks just because of the change in seasons! The change of light, colors, types of flowers, amount of people there, the colors of the clothes people are wearing... it’s all different with the seasons, but the the aura of peace remains! .
These pictures are from last Sunday and the beginning of September... .

11-Luxembourg Garden, Paris
There’s so much to do and see in Paris that it can feel impossible to stop and smell the roses. Luckily, the Latin Quarter is home to Luxembourg Gardens, which is all flowerbeds, apple and pear orchards, and greenhouses. It’s the perfect place to relax in the City of Love.
