What’s your favourite season? Mine is winter🥰❄️ – ♡ Sundance Film Festival 2017
Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (#DubaiTourism) today announced the launch of an exciting new collaboration with Hollywood superstars @gwynethpaltrow, @katehudson, and @zoesaldana. The campaign film titled ‘#AStoryTakesFlight’, features the actresses embarking on three journeys of exploration through Dubai, filled with inspiration, discovery, and human connections. This new global campaign resolves the mystery of the last edition of Dubai’s popular #BeMyGuest series, when #ShahRukhKhan bumped into #Hollywood actress #GwynethPaltrow on a beach in the last video.
The campaign showcases unique locations spread across the Emirate that include the old souks, the Dubai Creek and the vast expanse of sand dunes. Building on Be My Guest, it continues to introduce the Indian audience to the city’s less well-known attractions and hidden gems, encouraging travellers to discover the unexplored and authentic side of #Dubai.
Shot by Emmy and Director’s Guild award-winning director, #ReedMorano, who is known for her immersive, natural and cinematic style, the film captures the essence of each actress and the intimate relationships between them, all while capturing the beauty of Dubai. Shot over eight days with a crew from over thirty nationalities, the production of the film evokes the spirit of a city born from multiculturalism, which continues to thrive as a consequence of people from all walks of life calling it home.

*Originally I had an edit but I couldn't get it right so I decided to bring out my drawings and add to them. These are a few of the better ones.*
10 Years On: I wasn’t particularly thrilled with James Cameron’s Disney’s Pocahontas, aka Avatar: The Penultimate White Savior, when it packed IMAX’s in 2009. The effects were something quite incredible for the time, and the design of the film capitalized on 3-D’s endless floating boulder potential (physics be damned!). Beyond excelling with sounds effects and appropriating indigenous culture with body-positivity killing methods, the boilerplate, fish-out-of-water/white dude saves the day by hating authority/FernGully-mashup was unwatchable when not projected on an acre of silver screen.
When the film has three “Hey, watch it!” near miss moments in the first 20 minutes, I knew my first rewatch in a decade would not proceed pleasantly. Sam Worthington watched a few episodes of Jersey Shore to prepare to be a paralyzed vet who comes alive in a perfect body designed through genetic fuckery. Nicknamed “meals on wheels” by the mercenaries on Pandora, he gradually falls for the Na’vi, particularly the daughter of her tribe’s leader (sigh.) Neytiri (Zoe Saldana, doing blue face long before flubbing her career with Nina Simone). Joining forces with under used Sigourney Weaver, an affable nerd, and a typecast Michelle Rodriguez, they turn on the military men to help the Na’vi to not wreck their home for the Unobtainium (again, sigh.) below them. The action scenes are great and can string me along for their duration, but even with the attention to details, I still see a delimitation of character and scenery. Some movies blow me away with their innovation, but Avatar couldn’t hide its less-than-mediocre story even on the big screen. Bring it down the scale, and I found myself checking how long I had left way too early.🎥 #avatar #JamesCameron #sigourneyweaver #samworthington #zoesaldana #10yearsold #10thanniversary #anniversary #scifi #actionmovie #pocahontas #whitesavior #ferngully #3dmovie #bestpicture #academyawards #oscars #oscarwinner

DC / WB it's living their best comic book era right now... In 3 years wonder woman, Aquaman and Joker got the same praise/success as Nolan's trilogy.
The future is bright.
I trust the different visions of each director working for DC and as a fan I'm grateful that we are able to explore more characters. 💓💓💓💓
Girls power lol 😂😭💗💗
WOAAHHHHH! It’s been a hot minute on the edits, y’all!
The last time I made and posted an edit was September 1, 2018, I’m hoping that it’ll be more successful this time around.
I’ll probably make incorrect quotes as well.
