6: The metro tunnel metro in Copenhagen was opened in 2002 and has since served the inhabitants of Copenhagen and tourists as an environmentally friendly type of transport in the city. Its construction began in 1997, in 2002 the first stage was completed, and then the second stage in a year. In 2007, the route to the East Amagger was expanded with stops all over the way to Copenhagen Airport. There are no conductors on the trains, and the doors work in fully automatic mode, since they have sensors sensitive to pressure, which ensure the safety of passengers. Another extension is also planned — the city ring, which will open 17 new stations in 2018.
