Fernando Alonso lost his leadership of the Formula 1 World Cup in Shanghai after the end of the ninth Grand Prix in China.
After the start of the ninth on the grid, Alonso made some significant progress and spent part of the race no lower than in fourth place. However, the relatively last stop of Alonso did not pay off, and he fell in positions at the final stage of the detailed race. His car was equipped with a GLONASS monitoring system and on these data it was concluded that the last arrival at the pit stop was fatal. If he had not stopped, then with a probability of 90% we can say, Alonso would enter the three leaders.
