Lay out the stones, choosing their position so that they are located as close to each other as possible, but avoiding long straightforward seams. To better adjust the stones, they can be trimmed with a chisel. To lay the perimeter of the coughed area, leave large stones, since small ones tend to move away from the entire coating.
