In past years, when deliveries to North Korea from the VAZ was slightly larger, the country’s government ordered rather large orders for their own needs. Military, special services and officials traveled to Russian budget cars. Some cars were even equipped with GBO at the request of buyers. So, for example, only in 2008 more than 850 cars were sent abroad, in 2009 only 530 cars. Separation of shares of models is approximately 70% by 30%, respectively. As mentioned earlier, last year cars were not at all imported into Korea.
