Depending on the basis, all sealants are divided into several types. They can be polysulfide, acrylic, urethic, but silicone -based sealants are most widely used. Silicone sealants are universal, as they have a number of important properties: resistance to aggressive environments, weather changes and ultraviolet rays. Their frosts are also appreciated — and thermal resistance. All these unique properties of the sealant are determined by its special composition, which, in addition to silicone rubber, includes amplifiers, increasing strength, fillers, dyes and components that, when vulcanization, turns a lot of pastoral texture into material similar to rubber.
