It is important to consider that glued glass canvases are quite heavy, which means they can accidentally peel off under the weight of their own weight, so for greater reliability it is better to “plant” them on glue and additionally fix them with dowels, closing the latter with special chrome caps. The mirrors of polyacrylate glass (plexiglass) or polycarbonate are also attached to the ceiling and polycarbonate. The main advantage of these materials is their lightness.
