Metal frames: conditions and advantages of application

For buildings with a reinforced concrete frame, metal frames are used. If the conditions allow, then the plane of movement is assigned below the level of the sole of the shoes of the columns and the beams of the support frame are summed up directly under the shoes. If the plane of the cutting of the building passes above the bottom of the columns, then the task of transmitting the load of the column to the elements of the support frame is achieved either by gradual cutting of the columns and bringing the frames with the bottom of the iron beams under the trimmed parts of the iron beams or by installing the racks from iron beams next to the reinforced concrete columns, resting with the upper ends into the beams of the ceiling, and the lower ones — into the elements of the support frame and wrapped together with reinforced concrete columns with iron clamps.
