On the purified concrete, for better connection with new concrete, a notch was made (in such cases, horizontal struts are often made, as shown at 457) and all naked concrete was plentifully pouring water. On the external trapezoidal sides of the foundation, reinforcement was installed (FOT. 458) and then new concrete of the composition 1: 4 was applied, and slag cement was adopted as more stable in relation to sulfates.
