Before the appearance of polypropylene plastering nets, metal nets were used, which also coped well with the creation of a reinforced layer. But there was one but: metal plaster nets were subject to corrosion, as a result of which the plastered layer was destroyed. Polypropylene nets are not subject to corrosion, and are an excellent means for reinforcing.
