The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation decided to transfer the deadline for the obligatory equipment of commercial vehicles by tachographs for the period from 2014 to 2016. This was reported the day before «Izvestia». It was originally planned to make tachographs obligatory already in the current year, but the agency provided a deferment after it turned out that equipment with characteristics that satisfy the stated requirements, not a single enterprise in Russia is produced. According to the departmental order, all trucks and buses that are used for commercial transportation of goods and passengers will be equipped with these devices.
