Paints used in finishing work are characterized by a number of most important parameters: hiding, drying speed, light resistance, spreading, etc.
Covering is recognized as one of the most important characteristics of any type of paint. This indicator is primarily responsible for the quality of surface coloring and material consumption. The paint with a low shelter has to be applied in several layers to completely paint over the color of the base. High -quality paint with a high shelter indicator will not require applying more than two layers to the surface, while the paint with a low indicator will need to be applied to the surface from five to eight layers. This characteristic depends on the properties of the coloring pigment, on the basis of which paint was created.
