In a free form, the tsar-grib can grow up to 1000 years. It mainly grows in the mountainous regions of Asia: Korea, Japan, China. At home, it is most often grown on aiper soil. It can also be found as a parasitic mushroom that grows on dead wood. In this form, it is most often found in America and Europe.
